The HR Intern will have an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience, while working to assist the HR department in completing different compensation projects and administrative HR tasks. The Intern may work with managers and employees of all levels across a geographically dispersed organization to proactively support the implementation and delivery of HR processes, programs, and best practices. This individual will gain exposure to different facets of HR management.
Duties & Responsibilities (Essential functions are identified in bold and italicized text below.)
Must work safely at all times.
Pursue a broad and deep understanding of NGL business unit operations.
Work with HR team and management to finalize pay ranges and job descriptions for positions across the company.
Update employee records and perform administrative cleanup of items in the HRIS platform, known as Workday.
Work on sensitive issues with discretion and confidentiality.
Answer employee questions and handle basic HR-related correspondence.
Assist in preparing HR-related reporting in Workday.
Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates for open positions.
