About the Role:
As Senior Director, Network Engineering, you will spearhead a transformative network modernization initiative, powering a $40 billion revenue stream across the Americas and Caribbean, leading a team of 10 seasoned network engineers to architect the future of our global network infrastructure. This role demands a visionary leader who can define and execute strategy, champion operational excellence, and cultivate high-performance teams. The end-state network will be robust, resilient and efficient. It will leverage sound design, state of the art technologies and emerging capabilities such as AIOps to achieve these goals and to seamlessly integrate with the global TD SYNNEX environment.

Create and sell strategic investment proposals to leverage promising emerging technologies for increased business advantage.

What We're Looking For:
15+ years network engineering experience, including 10+ years managing IT.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees in Computer Science, Networking, or related fields preferred.
Advanced certifications in networking, cloud, IT service management, process engineering, and network security highly desirable.
Network Modernization & Innovation:
Proven ability to develop and implement innovative network solutions to enhance service and efficiency.
Expertise in designing, building, and operating modern multi-country SD-WAN networks.
Deep understanding of Cisco VXLAN, NDFC, and VRF technologies.
Advanced Network Security:
Experience designing secure networks with Network Access Control, DDOS protection, and Zero Trust architecture.
Proficiency in deploying and managing Fortinet Firewalls and SD-WAN, and Cisco datacenter/edge switches.
Network Management & Automation:
Expertise in designing, implementing, and utilizing SolarWinds for network health monitoring, automation, IP Address Management, service visualization, and device configuration.
Strategic Leadership & Team Development
Proven ability to develop high-performing teams and manage resources effectively.
Experience outsourcing tactical functions and managing partners for increased value.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong multicultural interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
