In this critical role, you will assess, report, and recommend remediation activities to reduce risk, working with technology owners. 

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Western Union will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Responsibilities

Assess and report on the operational effectiveness of controls and procedures, as well as the risk posture, of information resources and technologies to ensure appropriate safeguarding of Western Union’s data. 
Utilize strong policy and process knowledge, as well as experience with different control domains to ensure compliance with Information Security Program.
Communicate evolving Security and Compliance requirements to a variety of internal audiences across the company.  
Actively manage the Risk Register, drive preparation of risk assessment and facilitate risk decisioning and tracking.

Qualifications:

5+ yrs of Information Security or IT Audit/Risk experience
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Equivalent work experience is acceptable.
At least one of the following certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC.
Strong experience with information assurance, risk management and assessment in technical environment
