What You Can Expect

As our Intern in Integration & Transformation Project Management, you will gain experience in supporting various projects, including post-acquisition integrations of companies acquired by ENGIE North America, divestitures, and internal transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with internal teams to establish guiding principles, goals, objectives, and business priorities, all contributing to the successful execution of projects. Additionally, you will assist in capturing and documenting lessons learned, fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the organization. This internship opportunity is based in Houston, TX, and spans three months, from January 2025 to May 2025. You will report to the Head of Integration & Transformation.

Project Support Experience, assist project teams and steering committees with integration, divestiture, and transformation initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in project coordination and execution
Financial Compliance Understanding, develop knowledge of financial and business processes by managing compliance with accounting rules and supporting process controls and procedures
Strategic Collaboration Skills, gain experience in collaborating with leadership to align project objectives with strategic business priorities, enhancing communication and teamwork skills within project environments
Activity Coordination Proficiency, acquire skills in organizing and tracking project activities, including risk assessments, project plan development, progress reporting, and KPI monitoring, essential for successful project management
Risk Management Insight, learn to identify and escalate potential risks and challenges during project execution, building critical problem-solving and decision-making skills
Best Practices Implementation and Metrics Analysis, contribute to the implementation of best practices from the NORAM and Group IMO office while tracking and reporting on budgets, costs, savings, and metrics, gaining insights into performance measurement and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as Business, Finance, IT, or Engineering
You are organized and demonstrate strong organizational skills, effectively managing and supporting multiple projects simultaneously
You will gain knowledge in communication develop strong interpersonal communication skills, essential for collaborating with team members and stakeholders
You will learn a proactive mindset cultivate a proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative in project tasks
You will get exposure to project management principles gain a basic understanding of project management principles and integration processes, enhancing your project execution capabilities
You will build computer proficiency Achieve proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Teams, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, while also gaining familiarity with MS PowerBI as a valuable tool
You will learn project planning skills Acquire basic skills in project planning, scheduling, task tracking, budgeting, and budget tracking, essential for effective project management

Additional Details

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy with a minimum of three (3) days working in office if you are based in Houston, TX
