Materials Management Tech II - Materials Management

Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients! St. John's Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and organized Materials Management Tech II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of medical supplies and equipment throughout our hospital.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of medical supplies and equipment.
Process purchase orders, receiving, and stocking of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems.
Collaborate with clinical staff to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Meets minimum competencies of Materials Management Tech I
Three to six months of inventory management experience.
An understanding of large ERP systems.
Valid California driver license.
Competent in Microsoft Word Outlook and basic computer operations.
Six to twelve months related work experience in a hospital stockroom or warehouse preferred.
Forklift operation certification and/or experience preferred.
