About the Opportunity
The Dayforce Industry Solutions (DIS) Service Consultant (Non-Coding) builds and maintains custom HCM solutions. They are empowered to design complex software solutions in a quick cadence and fast-paced environment. The service consultant serves as tester, quality assurance, and primary customer contact rolled into one role. This individual’s main responsibility is to work with the customer to gather requirements, document, and test the custom product.
What you’ll get to do
Document client solutions with in-depth technical details & nuance
Provide solution & integration options within design & build of DIS solutions
Work in tandem with Project Managers and other coding and non-coding service consultants.
Review & check quality of solution builds for blueprint synchronization
Works with project manager to help define steps for customization
Respond promptly to customer inquiries
Communicate with customers through various channels
Acknowledge and resolve customer issues
Cultivate a deep understanding of the solution to answer customer questions
Create and implement test plans
Write test cases/test scenarios for the customer to execute
Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Test customer integrations prior to go live
Train customers on Dayforce Industry Solutions (DIS)
Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
Communicate and coordinate with internal and external project teams
Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service processes
Proactively identify opportunities to improve service and improve product useability
Manage implementation through go live
Skills and experience we value
2-3 years’ experience in technical data integration
Expertise in complex integration solutions
Technical documentation skills
Proficient in addressing issues with creative problem-solving skills
Superb active listening skills
Capacity to conduct in depth analysis
Creation of UAT and Parallel test plans
Business transformation and HR effectiveness
HCM consulting experience with an HCM software provided or consultancy
HCM life cycle expertise, including operations and business practices and technology enablement
Experience in driving projects & sprints to success
Capable to work & deliver within critical deadlines
Prior experience in HCM software applications – WorkForce Management & Payroll
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
Experience using agile methodologies or test-driven development (TDD).
Experience working in a fast-paced/competitive environment, and have a deep desire to work collaboratively, solve problems with groups, find win/win solutions and celebrate successes.
An interest in solving technical problems with passion and empathy for customers.
An attention to detail with self-discipline and a drive for results.
What would make you really stand out
Prior consultative experience with employee data integration or HCM software
Knowledge of prevailing wage and union concepts
Prior consultative or functional experience with Dayforce HCM
Familiarity with C#.NET
