Job Summary:?
The management, coordination, and execution of operations that take place outside within a customer site or warehouse. Field operations professionals play a critical role in overseeing and ensuring the smooth functioning of various activities and projects in the field, managing compliance with CRST regulations and ensuring that customers are providing excellent customer service.
Location: Covina, CA
Compensation: $66,650 - $75,000 is the full pay range (Pay Bi-Weekly) *A final amount is dependent on factors including prior relevant experience, knowledge, and location. Typically, selected candidates are hired at a rate between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist market manager in all operational aspects of assigned Location
Assists in implementation of new location or locations that need assistance
Assist in the coordination of load-out and ensuring everyone has assigned orders on a daily basis. Identify, escalate and execute on management-approved opportunities for increased productivity for the territory
Builds company image within market by collaborating with carrier partners, customers and management
Completes all assigned tasks in a thorough and workmanlike fashion
This includes timely return of phone calls, emails, and customer, partner and internal inquiries
Creates a positive and professional work environment and leads by example
Maintain the confidentiality of all company and client information
Other duties as dictated by business need and assigned by management

In 1955, Herald and Miriam Smith started Cedar Rapids Steel Transport out of a refurbished chicken coop they bought for $125.
