Job Description

PeaceHealth is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join St. John Medical Center's established behavioral health team in beautiful Longview, Washington. Consider joining the robust and collaborative team of Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Registered Nurses, and ancillary staff. PeaceHealth's commitment to Behavioral Health is reflected in our state-of-the-art 22 bed inpatient psychiatric locked unit, community advocacy, and integrated behavioral health leadership. The community Longview is perfectly nestled in between Portland and Seattle, providing quick access to the airport, big city amenities, National Parks, and the Pacific Ocean.

7 on/7 off, 12-hour shifts
Night call not required, but optional with additional compensation
Treat both voluntary and involuntary patients ages 18 and over with acute psychiatric and behavioral disturbances requiring the safety of a locked unit.
Comprehensive and patient-centered care with a cohesive, well-connected team who have a passion for serving these patients
Provide consults for Inpatient Service and Emergency Department as needed
