The Corporate Stakeholder Relations Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and maintaining positive relationships between the company and its various stakeholders. They are responsible for engaging with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry associations, community groups, and NGOs, to ensure alignment with the company's objectives and values. The role requires a strategic approach to stakeholder management, effective communication skills, and the ability to represent the company professionally in various forums. He/she will be responsible for creating robust stakeholder mapping, delivering compelling content to support stakeholder engagement opportunities and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support in the development and implementation of a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy to identify, prioritize, and engage with key stakeholders relevant to the company's business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry associations, community groups, and NGOs, and support with stakeholder inquiries and addressing their concerns.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging and strategies for effective stakeholder engagement.
Represent the company at industry conferences, and other relevant forums, advocating for the company's interests and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze stakeholder perceptions, feedback, and regulatory developments, providing insights and recommendations to the GSR Director to inform strategic decision-making.
Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for senior executives on stakeholder engagement activities, outcomes, and key issues.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement initiatives, including events, meetings and site visits, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues that may impact the company's stakeholders, providing timely updates and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in stakeholder relations processes and practices, identifying opportunities to enhance the company's reputation and stakeholder engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related field within the U.S. context.
Skills:
Strong networking capabilities with a proven track record of building relationships with government and trade associations.
Excellent content creation abilities, with experience in crafting speeches and key messaging for executive leadership.
Proficiency in digital tools for stakeholder management and engagement optimization.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Global Stakeholder Relations Director in the Corporate Affairs and Impact team.
