What You’ll Be Doing?  

As an Execution Lead, your main function will be to lead exciting projects involving acquisitions, divestitures, and special projects.  Special projects include new global sites for research and manufacturing. Execution Leader is a key role within the Business Development organization.

How You’ll Succeed

You will lead the start-up, planning and execution for high level IT projects with a focus on Acquisitions and Divestitures.
You will lead the IT start-up, planning and execution of new sites including Manufacturing and Labs.
Must oversee project staffing, progress, risks, escalations, and change management.
Typical projects may include company-wide IT new service implementations, more focused technical releases, acquisitions, mergers or divestitures, but generally involve coordination of 10-15 different workflows per project.
You will be responsible for multiple simultaneous projects, the number of which depends on the size and scope of each (typically varies between 4-7).
Must ensure project status and risks are appropriately communicated to all relevant audiences, including users, key stakeholders, customers, Alliance partners, team members, business and IT partners and management, etc. 
You must proactively leverage resources to obtain a basic but solid understanding of all IT areas to enable effective leadership of technical project resources.  Topics include networking, telecom, voice, Cybersecurity, Office 365, domain transfers, servers (physical and virtual), laptops, mobile devices, physical security systems, virtual computing, printers, Audio Visual, Identity Management, enterprise, and scientific software, etc. 
You will oversee and work with the PMs assigned to the projects to ensure all key target dates are met, dependencies between workflows/teams are coordinated, appropriate tasks are planned, tracked, and reported accurately. 
Must be compliant. Many project workflows and tasks involve working in an “interim” space, where standard processes are not well-defined or applied.  This role leverages contacts and management to appropriately navigate these “gray areas”, ensuring feasible, yet compliant solutions. 
You will develop a large array of partnerships across many business functions, including Alliance Management, the core businesses (Clinical, Regulatory, Research, Manufacturing), Records Management, Quality, etc., and most of the departments within IDS. 
You will gain proficiency and lead various technical specialities or processes that are specific and useful to the team.  This includes providing framework, tools, documentation, and consultation for the team, such as server management, data transfer and verification's, telecom, etc.

Your Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related technical field.
With a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technology and leading complex projects.
