Your Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Student-Factory Engineering for John Deere Harvester Works located in East Moline, IL, you will:

Perform various administrative tasks tied to quality engineering.
Assist with maintenance of knowledge sharing tools, such as SharePoint sites and process documentation.
Review and verify work process steps performed by quality engineers for accuracy and completion.
Embrace and promote the supplier quality process.

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.

What Skills You Need

Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; others may apply.
Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited college/university.
Graduation date of May 2025 or later.
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly during the business hours of 7 AM to 5 PM CST.
Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly during the business hours of 7 AM to 5 PM CST.
Must be able to commute to the work location in East Moline, Illinois, on a daily basis year-round.
Experience in Microsoft Office applications as well as the ability to learn new tools.
