Job Summary
Internal Help Desk support for all Credit Union users (local and remote) and systems, including hardware and software analysis and implementation, solving basic technical problems, incident tracking, resolution, and escalation.
Essential Job Functions
Provides basic technical support to end users (local and remote), focusing on individualized customer service of a high-standard professional level.
Diagnose and resolve basic technical hardware and software issues including but not limited to computers, printers, phones, and peripherals.
Setup and configure accounts and hardware/software for end users.
Updates the Help Desk ticketing system with any modifications, changes or notes and the present status of the tickets, adhering to SLA.
Escalates moderately and highly complex issues while maintaining effective communication with the Help Desk team.
Take on any task big and small with enthusiasm.
Performs other functions as assigned.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of college, preferably in business or computer-related studies, or certificate in a state accredited computer type program.
Experience Requirements
Experience troubleshooting and fixing computers for both PCs and Macs preferred.
Experience troubleshooting peripheral devices (IP Phones, Printers, etc.) preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision preferred.
Basic understanding of Active Directory and Networking preferred.
Ability to multitask and prioritize requests preferred.
Eager to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies preferred.
Physical Actions
Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum.
Physical Environment
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment.
