The person in this role supports members of the investment team in performance reporting, advisory platform management, vendor project management, and maintaining due diligence files.
Responsibilities:
Assist team with onboarding & continuous monitoring of accounts on our vendor platforms
Work directly with vendors to resolve any issues related to account management, trading, reporting, billing, etc.
Work independently and collaboratively between vendors and across the firm to meet deliverables and ensure a smooth, and effective project implementation
Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, trading desk, supervisory & compliance on home office initiatives
Maintain performance reporting across wealth management
Track documentation and coordination with in-house counsel
Maintain the internal and external shared databases for investment due diligence.
Understand and contribute to the team’s investment research processes
Oversee ongoing monitoring of operational due diligence for alternative investments including reviewing reports and relevant news articles
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated interest in financial services
1-2+ years of related finance /operations experience
Advanced Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Word skills
Strong written and communication skills as well as strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Solid ability to communicate and interact effectively with multiple teams
Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, and quickly adjust to changing priorities
Highly motivated with strong attention to detail
Familiarity with Addepar and Envestnet preferred but not required
Ability to collaborate across different business units (Support, IT Teams, Jefferies Institutional Platform, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation and integration of new functionality.
Successful completion of Series 7 and Series 66 Exams within the time frame provided
