DMOS5 Industrial Engineering (IE) team is looking for an accomplished Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) Manager with leadership experience to join our team. As an ISyE Manager, you will play a crucial role being part of our automation and robotics roadmap to optimize TI’s largest 200mm wafer fab’s productivity, dispatching and scheduling, and improve its overall efficiency.

The desired candidate will have previous experience transitioning to new roles quickly and effectively, learning new concepts, and being self-motivated to meet objectives in a rapid paced work environment. The candidate must be both a leader and a team player who can work effectively with managers, supervisors and engineers across different organizations to achieve business goals in a quickly changing wafer fab environment.

The ability to leverage the latest technology solutions and lead the IE system’s team to drive automation and robotics implementation into the manufacturing environment is key to be successful in this position. Having experience in leading a lean and efficient team of engineers in a manufacturing environment and a strong foundation of industrial engineering methodology is required.

Roles and Responsibilities will include:

Leading a team of engineers in developing a factory scheduling eco-system that optimizes an objective function.

Lead a team of industrial and systems engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.

Develop and implement MIP/LP models to optimize factory operations.

Support factory capacity improvement initiatives.

Implementing innovative methodologies to drive factory execution with data and visualizations.

Coach and mentor team to develop and deploy simulation models to predict production capabilities and optimize.

Efficient in utilizing visualization software to develop innovative reports.

Efficient in data extraction and transformation.

Coach and mentor team to implement and drive automated data collections and analysis processes.

Ability to troubleshoot complex engineering problems.

Comprehensive computer skills specifically with data analysis and statistical analysis software.

Excel at completing projects accurately and timely.

Regularly supervise the work of personnel, provide input and conduct performance assessments.

Ability to influence and collaborate across internal and external organizations to support execution plan.

Supporting the development and training of IE team’s knowledge and skills.

Strong project management skills.

Ability to assess emerging technologies and software solutions relevant to industrial and systems engineering, and integrate them into our operations to stay at the forefront of industry best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering (preferably master degree in industrial engineering, or operations research).

Minimum 6 years of experience working as an industrial engineer (or equivalent) in manufacturing field, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing.

Minimum 3 years of supervisory/management experience.

5 years’ experience applying Operations Research methods in a manufacturing/business environment or 3 years’ experience plus advanced degree.

5 years’ experience using Gurobi, Xpress, CPLEX, or other industrial-strength LP/IP tools.

Must be comfortable working in a clean room environment wearing cleanroom required garments.

Preferred qualifications:

Familiar with Industry 4.0 concepts and how to implement them in a manufacturing environment.

Experience developing dispatching and scheduling logic.

Team player, must be able to work effectively across functional and cultural boundaries.

Ability to build and sustain strong relationships with peers during difficult and stressful situations, and able to negotiate and drive solutions.

Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across functional boundaries and with upper management.

“Out of the box” thinking.

Experience in ETL methodology.

Experience in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, C , etc.
