What You Will Do
The Market Delivery Assistant Manager (MDAM) is primarily responsible for ensuring Delivery Customer Satisfaction thru service and quality control standards, for customers in a specific market for product purchased thru Lowe’s Retail Stores or Lowes Online. Daily interactions will include coordination between the XDT (Cross Dock Terminal), 3PL delivery, Bulk Distribution Centers (BDCs), and Lowe's stores. This position works closely with cross-functional business units, including store operations to identify and implement solutions that support successful home delivery operations, all while acting as an advocate for customers.
The MDAM oversees a market-based CSA-XDT (Customer Service Associate – XDT) team responsible for supporting final mile delivery operations. This includes performance monitoring, inbound call monitoring, customer service escalations, issue identification and resolution and continuous improvement efforts. For the market team, the MDAM oversees day-to-day operations, manages employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducts performance reviews, coaches and develops associates. Additionally, the role has financial and administrative responsibility for the market team and will analyze financial statements and plans, create corrective actions, and coordinate with vendor partners to resolve claims and complaints received involving customer delivery experiences.
Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular overnight travel.
What We're Looking For
· Required to work a set schedule that may be changed/modified by management based on the needs of the facility.
· Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day require advanced notification and approval by supervisor. Salaried positions are generally scheduled for 40 hours; more hours may be required based on the needs of the XDT.
· Must work in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment.
· Minimally must be able to lift 40 pounds; ability to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance daily.
What You Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree – Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field plus at least 6 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bi-lingual skills helpful, if applicable to the facility
