Fair Isaac Corporation seeks a full-time Solution Integration - Sr. Principal Consultant. Telecommuting available from anywhere in US. HQ at Bozeman, MT. The primary responsibility of the Solution Integration - Senior Principal Consultant is to provide highly technical consulting for complex decision-based/analytic IT solutions for complex, large-scale, and strategic projects in the Financial service and Financial Tech industry. These solutions are comprised of FICO products, 3rd party technologies and customized frameworks which are deployed on the FICO Platform in both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
Specific duties include:
1) Provide solution architecture and design for enterprise applications, deployment architecture, delivery of applications on cloud, directory and identity services, collaboration tools, application server design, storage architectures.
2) Provide technical leadership on FICO Professional Services projects along with pre-sales support to FICO Sales.
3) Analyze and document customer requirements and produce high-level technical designs resulting in estimates for the development and delivery of solutions.
4) Translate and present complex technical data to non-technical personnel internally and with customers.
5) Leverage industry scenarios to select the architecture, technology and/or products to align the priorities of IT with the business and provide the business solution across all domains.
6) Lead the analysis of new/ existing architectures, specifies long term direction, and ensures engineering platforms meet throughout and reliability expectations. Understand integration of various technical platforms, use industry scenarios to select the architecture, technology and/or products to align the priorities of IT with the business and provides the business solution across all domains.
7) Provide specialized technical training, and provide support services for FICO software solutions. This includes remote and on-site client installations and configurations, documentation of the installation instructions, training clients on maintaining the systems, and updating internal documentation on client environments.
8) Advise and guide customers in integrating FICO software solutions with existing customer computer systems and, in selected engagements, actively participating in the integration of FI products by designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting interfacing software.
9) Work in Java (Enterprise-EJB’s), J2ee, JSF, JavaScript REST and SOAP based web Services, Middleware, database design and data modeling, Dot Net and SOA knowledge as it pertains to architecting solutions.
10) Evaluate stability, compatibility, scalability and interoperability of FICO products and 3rd party technologies as used in large enterprise solutions for FICO clients.
11) Duties may entail leadership of more junior level staff including guiding projects and/or managing day to day activities. This position requires travel (domestic and international) 30% of the time. May telecommute from any location in the U.S.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology Systems, or related field, plus eight (8) years of experience with technical large scale consulting in a computer engineering position or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept ten (10) years of experience with technical large scale consulting in a computer engineering position or related occupation. Experience must include five (5) years of experience, which may be concurrent, with all of the following:
1) Building and implementing technical projects.
2) Applying knowledge of one or more industry areas, including: Financial services or Financial Tech industry.
3) Analyzing and documenting requirements and producing high-level technical designs resulting in estimates for the development and delivery of solutions.
4) Working in Angular, Java (Enterprise-EJB’s), J2ee, JSF, JavaScript REST and SOAP based web Services, Middleware, database design and data modeling, Dot Net and SOA knowledge as it pertains to architecting solutions.
5) Utilizing the following Web based technologies: Java, JSF, XML, JSON, HTML, Javascript, JSP, Servlet. SAML and OAuth based authentication; Business Rules Management Systems: e.g. Blaze, JRules. Low code development platform like Wavemaker and Outsystems, and expertise in Oracle database, JBoss and Websphere application server, Windows and Linux operating system.
6) Working with Cloud Computing (AWS), Distributed Processing and Big Data concepts in the context of highly available and scalable FICO client solutions.
7) Utilizing the following deployment and container technologies such as Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes in the context of performing on-premises installations of FICO products and foundational tech stack dependencies.
