It will be your mission as Sr. Principal Technical Product Manager, Platform to bring the next generation of platform capabilities to life, using cloud native architecture and services and scalable patterns, that will strengthen Dayforce’s standing as an industry-leader.
You will be a leader on the Platform product team, whose mission is to empower application teams to efficiently deliver high quality, innovative and lovable products through modern platform technology and thought leadership. What you’ll get to do 

Develop and lead platform-wide initiatives with a passion and enthusiasm, drawing on your technical experience to translate business requirements into solutions for our customers
Engage customers, users, developers, architects and operations to understand product requirements and desired timelines
Advise the team about new technologies/services and identify opportunities to automate/simplify/extend the existing platform
Understand the Human Capital Management domain, especially with respect to how various modules share data and interact and with respect to the competitive landscape
Represent Ceridian’s excellence in platform and technology externally to customers and partners, to industry analysts, at conferences, and in publications
Understand the impact of your decisions across all the platform services and frameworks and the impact on all Dayforce products
Foresee and describe business, market and technology innovations that your initiatives will enable, as well as assemble accurate operational costs to form technical business cases to present to leadership
Handle all aspects of product information including timelines, prioritization, scope definition and product backlog
Identify and prioritize features based on value to product teams and cost to build, deploy and maintain
Collaborate with the engineering team to prioritize features and determine the best technical implementation methods
Evaluate and advise on the holistic business value of operating in-house solutions vs. adopting services/using external software and present analysis to leadership
Evaluate and advise on external third-party vendors and present analysis to leadership
Deliver end-to-end products focusing on functionality, performance, security, scalability, resiliency, localization, and integrations
Operate effectively and independently in an agile environment
Motivate, mentor and inspire colleagues without direct authority

Skills and experience we value

Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree
Minimum 10 years of experience as SaaS software developer or architect working directly with agile development teams or minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Technical Product Manager
Experience delivering complex SaaS projects at scale, concept to customer
A desire to discover and deliver innovative solutions to improve the business aspects, customer needs and human side of software
Demonstratable understanding of cloud native architectures and stacks, scalable patterns and cloud technologies, like microservices, event-driven frameworks, serverless, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional self-awareness and influencing skills
Highly organized, disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration within an agile development team
Expertise with development tools and methodologies and analytical and data tools across different tech stacks
Expert understanding of software development architecture and design
Experience with global human capital management system, mobile application and consumer app design and development is desired
