Location: Work is what you do, not where you go. For this role, we are open to remote work and can hire anywhere in the United States. 

About the opportunity 

As HRIS Analyst, Sr. you will serve as the domain specialist for Ideal’s / Dayforce HCM System.  You’d act as the HRIS point of contact, driving the implementation and release of new functionality and enhancements, as well as operational and maintenance tasks as we expand into new markets.
 
You will have advanced expertise in Ideal / Dayforce for process analysis, design and problem-solving in a sophisticated environment with focus on end-to-end processes and impacts. Reporting into the operations function, you will act as a liaison across both the Ideal functions and Ceridian functions, translating sophisticated business needs to effective design recommendations, system/data analysis, and leading or participating in testing and deployment activities. You will demonstrate deep functional expertise to understand process and systems requirements, provide valuable input to the IT Team as they build out the product roadmap. Additionally, you will support the build-out of HRIS functional SOPs specific to Ideal.

What you’ll get to do 

Assessments of systems or business applications to ensure they meet the usability criteria of an end user, customer and/or execute. 
Identify, partner with, and lead organizational business partners (e.g., Human Resources, Finance, and Payroll) to define and document technical and functional requirements meticulously. 
Configure, help and optimize the design, development and performance of our HRIS and other People systems and processes.
Maintain direct contact with key stakeholders, working with them to create and document processes to improve workflows and minimize points of friction.
Strong understanding of end-user needs and requirements and ability to translate into system requirements and configuration.
Be a motivated, bold champion of change that can leverage blended technical acumen and HR functional expertise to proactively operationalize process excellence while driving innovation.
Manage efforts to ensure new and existing software solutions are developed with insight into industry best practices, strategies, and architectures.
Assess HR system integrations to ensure proper functionality, troubleshooting as needed.
Foster positive relationships with customers and stakeholders within the business and maximize the value of those relationships to drive cross functional operations.
Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, and policy changes. 
Provide advice and options on the best way to automate processes in the system and see them to execution.
Assist with execution of system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) and participate in all aspects of system testing.
Ability to communicate clearly with team and stakeholders.
Document procedures to support build out and maturation of the function.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Skills and experience we value 

5+ years’ experience in an information system or HRIS organization
Required bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Management, Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related degree field from an accredited college or university required; graduate degree a plus.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced skills in the following areas: SQL, Word, Excel, HRIS systems.
Strong customer service, problem solving, project management and communication skills required.
Strong analytical ability with demonstrated knowledge of industry recognized reporting software and spreadsheet usage; synthesize large amounts of data and translate into meaningful information; use analysis to drive change.
Exceptional diligence and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple simultaneous assignments promptly and effectively.
Strong level of personal organization and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. 
Motivate, self-driven and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. 
Proactively suggest process improvement methodology. 

What would make you really stand out 

2+ years' experience as a solutions architect.
2+ years' experience in process and technical and/or design documentation. 
Experience within implementation or after sale services.
