Texas Instruments is looking for a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Service Center Coordinator at TI, you’ll be directly responsible for the requisition, licensing and maintenance of our vehicles. You will maintain the mechanics shop and gas pump station. You will be responsible for purchasing, tracking and reporting fuel purchases. As a part of the Site Services team you will participate in various activities related to supporting North Dallas area facilities outside of the buildings.

Responsibilities include:

Keeping all vehicles inspected and maintained

Maintaining relationships with vendors to supplement our in-house service staff

Prioritizing activity for vehicle and equipment repair

Maintaining vehicles and equipment used for treating roads during winter weather events

Developing and maintaining a replacement plan for older vehicles

Preparing and executing capital requests for replacements and growth

Keeping our fuel island in compliance and maintained

Tracking and reporting fuel usage

Ordering parts and supplies to perform maintenance on vehicles and equipment

Developing and reviewing maintenance and operational procedures to ensure best practices are in place and documented properly

Provide technical focus, capacity management, problem solving, root cause analysis, cost estimating and financial management

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

5 years of relevant experience

Underground Storage Tanks owner license is required, this can be obtained via coursework

Exhibit commitment to a safe, reliable, and efficient work environment

Collaborative and customer-focused approach.

Display strong analytical skills for assessing problems and developing corrective actions

Excellent people skills including leadership and influencing others

Inclusively and collaboratively solve problems with input from all disciplines, teams and stakeholders

Be able to interface professionally and effectively with all levels of management

Be proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint as well as SAP, WebCap and similar software

Preferred qualifications:

5 years’ experience maintaining vehicles and equipment is preferred

ASE certification is a plus to help make good decisions on vehicle repairs

Possess excellent time management and priority setting skills while having the ability to effectively advance multiple activities simultaneously

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated, flexible, and have ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
