About the opportunity 

The Senior Director – Delivery Assurance Team is responsible for the oversight of the advisory and assurance services for System Integrator (SI) staffed projects for Ceridian clients across Ceridian’s three regions:  Americas, EMEA and APJ.    The Senior Director is responsible for development and administration of a global Delivery Assurance program offering in collaboration with Services executives across the regions.  Through influence rather than direct reporting relationships, this individual will align on the program structure, elements, goals, and metrics. 

They will be responsible for ensuring consistency in the program across regions and for vetting regional nuances as needed, for onboarding new team members to the program, for reporting overall results to executives, for positioning Delivery Assurance in the sales cycle, and for helping SI partners understand the value the program brings to them, for positioning the DA function with our prospects and customers as requested.  They will also be responsible for day-to-day management of a Global Delivery Assurance team located in a cost-effective region responsible for supporting the DA team administration and reporting as required.  

What you’ll get to do 

Define strategic direction, objectives, processes, and methods for global Delivery Assurance function.
Proactively evolve the service offering as the SI model continues to grow and new Partners are added to the ecosystem.  Identify and build out methodology to deliver the offering based on SI implementation approach, when warranted.  
Sponsor, advocate, create, and champion the support structure, tools, and other needs that are required to meet targets.
Identify and help resolve systemic and multi-departmental issues impacting the consistency and efficiency of the Delivery Assurance function, and anticipating evolving client demands to optimize the client’s experience.
Establish and monitor global metrics for measuring SI compliance with Ceridian’s implementation best practices and successful transitions to Support, considering that some metrics will need to vary by region. 
Demonstrate tactical leadership in developing, implementing, and achieving Ceridian and the Services team objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with executive leadership and key Delivery Assurance stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to those stakeholders.  
Participate in preparing for and delivering recurring updates to key executive leaders on the status of the overall Delivery Assurance program.  
Advise a team of Senior to Principal Project Management and Principal Consultant professionals regarding Services objectives to ensure successful delivery of projects being delivered by SI’s 
Facilitate recurring meetings across the global stakeholders to ensure consistency in the delivery of the service 
Be able to conduct business across time zones.

Skills and experience we value

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to present to internal business partners and to clients.
Demonstrated ability to partner with other functional areas/organizations to deliver a seamless experience for the client.
Bachelor’s Degree required plus 10 years related experience, or Masters or other Advanced Degree plus 8 years related experience.
Proven skill implementing strategic direction through tactical goal setting, implementation, and delivery. 
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
Fundamental understanding of the project lifecycle, project types, and resource/project tracking mechanisms used to maintain the function of the team.
Experience in leading a Delivery Assurance Team preferred.
Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources are not in direct control of this role.

Experience leading a virtual team is preferred.  
Occasional travel may be required.
