Requisition Summary
Acts as a liaison between Kenworth Materials, Production, and the local MSS Suppliers to ensure the MSS suppliers performance meets the needs of the Kenworth Renton plant.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Assist in the launch of new kit and sub-assembly programs.
Communicate production plans and schedule changes to the MSS Suppliers.
Provide “boots on the ground” support to control offsite inventories, coordinate lean practices and drive continuous improvement activities at the supplier locations.
Lead efforts to improve kitting accuracy, and request corrective actions when required.
Conduct training of off-site personnel on receiving and other system functions.
Maintain accurate part master data related to location, and ship destination, for MSS controlled parts.
Set plant kit inventory levels and monitor MSS delivery performance.
