Responsible for assisting with management of the natural gas supply plans for the local distribution companies, which may include tasks related to demand forecasting, natural gas supply planning, purchasing, scheduling, confirmation, transaction data management, and contract management. Interface with operations groups, producers and marketers, upstream service representatives, and other business partners. Assist the Analyst, Senior Analyst, Lead Analyst, and Gas Supply Manager with support for other supply-related matters.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education
•Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or an equivalent field is required. An advanced degree in one of these fields is desired.
Experience
•Analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex topics verbally and in writing.
•Experience with natural gas pipeline transportation and storage service is preferred.
•This position requires someone who is comfortable performing detail-oriented work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist with preparation of daily supply setups consistent with company strategy and regulatory requirements.
•Schedule and confirm natural gas supply purchases using the appropriate systems.
•Work with operations groups, teammates, and leadership team to optimize the daily needs of the system.
•Creatively seek ways to maximize the value of pipeline transportation, storage, and supply assets.
•Maintain a thorough and up to date understanding of the practical operational aspects of applicable pipeline transportation and storage services and their tariff and contractual provisions.
•Participate in the development of gas supply strategies for the local distribution companies.
•Participate in weekend back-up rotation, and back-up other team members as needed. Occasional weekend and after-hours work may be required.
