The Lilly Professional Apprenticeship Program is a  13-month (fixed duration employee) program for people without a 4-year degree. As a Lilly Professional Apprentice you will receives a combination of formal training, on-the-job learning, and mentoring in a key functional area to be equipped to compete for a Lilly position after successful completion of the apprenticeship. Upon successful completion of the program, apprentices will have the opportunity to advance their careers, including consideration for full-time positions at Lilly.

Responsibilities:

Lilly is seeking a Lead Operations Apprentice who shares our passion for making life better for people around the world. As part of a our Operations team, you will work closely with management, engineering, and operations to make medicine that improves people's lives.
With coaching and feedback, Lilly provides you the ability to further your growth as leader within the manufacturing space and the organization.
-  Develop knowledge of the technical manufacturing processes to make sterile medicine
-  Execute all activities associated with the manufacturing process, including cleaning, prep, formulation, filling, and inspection
-  Partner with technical experts within industry to learn and apply manufacturing regulation
-  Improve upon existing practices and help to develop innovative strategies to improve efficiency and the way compliance is achieved
-  Create and refine procedures for operational activities
-  Provide on-the-floor knowledge and expertise to support team activities, goals, and objectives
-  Demonstrate Lilly's core values, leading by example

-  Adhere to all safety policies and procedures; contribute to a safe work environment
-  Setup and operations in both aseptic and non-aseptic processes.
-  Adhere to standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices to ensure quality of product
-  Document process steps on appropriate documentation

Basic Requirements:

HS Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of related or professional experience. Proven experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Completion of Post Offer Exam or Completion of Work Simulation if applicable.

Additional Skills/Preferences:
