Position Overview:

The Associate Director, Image Trial Management is responsible for serving as lead and first-line escalation for assigned trials, driving clinical trial imaging deliverables, internal and external, to ensure a timely and quality contribution.

Responsibilities:

First-line Image Trial Management escalation for assigned studies, projects, and/or programs.
Provide primary onboarding, oversight, and budget management of TPOs to ensure proper oversight and adherence to the statement of work, charters and study-specific key performance indicators.
Serve as Trial Management Lead to oversee operational aspects of assigned small to large scale clinical/imaging trials/projects with respect to writing and implementing imaging protocols, imaging management plans, imaging charters and training all PET imaging site staff and internal staff and monitors in protocol specific imaging procedures for clinical/imaging trials, and proper filing of study documentation according to SOPs.
Manage PET Center relationships by serving as a primary contact for the Study Team and imaging centers for assigned, insourced clinical/imaging trials. Triage support with respect to image acquisition, reconstruction parameters, troubleshooting, first patient imaged support, and file transfer.
Work cross-functionally to maintain project timelines during the planning, initiation, ongoing/active and study completion stages of clinical trials with respect to imaging data collection and analysis.
Proactively identify potential risks and establish mitigation strategies at the project and program level
Adherence to department SOPs and ICH-GCP guidelines.

Basic Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
Three to five years of combined experience in PET, radiology, trial management, or relevant work experience
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
Understanding of GCP

Additional Skills/Preferences:

Clinical research experience, preferably in pharmaceutical development or a clinical research organization. 
Able to manage multiple and competing priorities through effective organizational, people, and time management skills
Excellent self-management and organizational skills; able to manage workload, set personal and team priorities and adjust as needed.
Flexibility to adjust quickly and effectively to frequent change and altered priorities.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel and ability to develop additional computer skills to support image management
Consistent, successful demonstration of leadership behaviors with excellent oral and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and succinctly with team members and leadership.
Strong problem-solving skills: able to anticipate and recognize problems, diagnose root causes and take corrective action to prevent recurrence within the team.

Overnight travel will be required and is estimated at 10%
