The Information Security Analyst Cyber Compliance role is responsible analyzing cyber security controls.  Your goal is to help reduce cyber risk by ensuring successful implementation of mitigating controls within Western Union’s data environments, services and systems.  As part of the Cyber Security Team, you will review, identify, document, analyze and test cyber risks and controls across the organization.  This includes documenting risk and compliance assessments, gathering and assessing evidence, and assisting in the creation of reports across the global organization.  You’ll work with your team, global partners and the rest of the Cyber Security department to help ensure Western Union and its customers are safe from Cyber Security attacks.  While this position is not a technical role, and does not require coding, your technical knowledge along with experience in Governance Risk and Compliance (GCR)will be extremely valuable.

For this role, you have a Bachelor’s in Cyber Security or similar field.  Education or equivalent experience is a must. You also have 0-3 years of directly related experience in risk, cyber compliance, IT audit, or similar.  We need you to have familiarity with traditional risk and controls analysis and possess a basic understanding of Information Security control frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, or ISO 22301. You will need to understand how to identify cyber risks and mitigating controls.  You possess strong technical skills along with strong communication and collaboration skills. An introductory knowledge and comprehension of cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud is a benefit.
