The ideal candidate is a senior-level scrum master with an excellent track record of leadership, accountability, and interpersonal skills.  She or he is comfortable working in Agile methodologies. She or he will take initiative and produce timely and high-quality business outcomes in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment. This role will require a unique mix of project management skillsets and servant leadership experience to help serve and facilitate both waterfall projects and drive relentless value via continuous iterations within scaled agile framework. As a servant leader you will facilitate cross-functional delivery teams including external vendors to ensure committed goals are met.

Candidates for this position must have the skills and experience necessary to:

Facilitate removal of impediments

Exhibit lean agile leadership qualities and help teams embrace SAFe core values, principles, and practices

Ensure business objectives are met as committed by agile teams

Establish effective value metrics and measurements

Identify and appropriately engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including proficient presentations to senior executives

Plan and carry out organizational change activities

Identify, assess, and devise mitigation plans for risks and track them consistently

Manage vendor engagements

Partner with delivery product owner to manage demand intake for the agile teams and identify necessary resources

Obtain funding, acquire products, and reconcile costs including internal labor

Facilitate collaboration and communication

Ensure high-quality documentation of product delivery

Technical Experience and Qualifications:

10+ years of work experience in the IT industry with 6+ years of experience either working as a Project Manager and 2+ years as a Scrum Master or applying Scrum / Agile principles, processes, and tools

6+ years of IT project management experience with traditional waterfall methodologies and tools, resource and change management practices and techniques or other directly related experience in medium to large corporate environments

Experience working in a Scaled Agile framework environment especially as a Scrum Master in Fintech industry is a BIG PLUS

Experience and passionate about transitioning from Waterfall to Scaled Agile methodology

Coordination with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques

Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

Ensure resource availability and allocation

Polished leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation

Relationship managements skills paying specific attention to building trust with customers, vendors, and internal team members

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, information systems, or related discipline required

Strong negotiation and facilitation skills

Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity

Adept at personal organization and desire to continuously improve

Proficiency in use of Microsoft applications specifically ADO or any other equivalents like Jira/Jira Align

Understanding of real time payment systems / electronic payment systems is a plus

SAFe 5.0 Scrum Master or any other SAFe 5.0 certification is a a big PLUS
