Job Responsibilities:
Maintain general ledger as needed
Prepare and post all accounting entries for month end close
Ensure the integrity of our financial results at month end close
Analyze financial data in order to prepare financial statements
Ensure that all assigned Blackline deadlines are met
Provide support to the General Managers and Sales Managers & participate on special projects that are in alignment with company-wide goals, including synergy tracking, and make recommendations
Prepare presentations in support of Lead Team meetings
Provide analysis and advice on cost reduction plans
Lead assigned areas of responsibility including financial results and internal controls.
Interact with Veritiv corporate financial management to ensure alignment with corporate goals and initiatives.
Preparation and review of Capital Requests & periodic project reviews
Ensure compliance with records retention policies.
Become knowledgeable of safety work practices and perform all duties in a safe manner. Support safety programs.
