Summary
This individual contributor position provides Continuous Improvement leadership for Halyard Products division – Manufacturing and Procurement. The position purpose will be to deploy the Owens & Minor Business System Framework within all Manufacturing Sites, as well in the divisions of Procurement and EHS. Technical and system leadership will be required to support ongoing LEAN project ideation and scoping, project execution, process optimization, and system compliance / maintenance.
The incumbent provides project leadership for the implementation of the continuous improvement plans throughout the organization. This will involve facilitation, scoping and leading various projects and initiatives to improve the business results at each facility. The incumbent provides technical direction on a wide array of operation, business process, and systems issues.
Core Responsibilities
Deploy the Lean and Six-Sigma strategy within all Manufacturing Sites, as well in the divisions of Procurement and EHS.
Interact with all OE Site Leaders to align on the O&M Business System Framework
Lead the management systems processes for the Manufacturing and Procurement organizations globally.
Provide leadership and coordination for the process and delivery of improvement activities among the business teams, sector management, staff functional groups, and manufacturing teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
Continually improve existing business processes to enhance project execution, speed-to-market initiatives, quality improvement activities and customer-service objectives.
Support manufacturing globally to meet objectives in safety, cost, quality, productivity, customer service, and corporate ethics.

Qualifying Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
15 years proven knowledge and experience in manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years leading LEAN and/or Six Sigma
Proven experience providing strategy facilitation and project leadership to the global HC manufacturing and contract manufacturing sites.
Experience deploying organizational business system in manufacturing
Experience providing staff coordination and leadership on multi-sector and multi-functional operational issues.
Preferred qualifications:
5 or more years experience in Medical Devices, Pharma or Biologics operations/logistics
Bilingual skills in in English and Spanish
