Job Summary
The IT Governance Support Associate position is an opportunity for someone to join the IT Governance Team in a large growing Healthcare company. Participates in a broad range of global IT Governance functions that assist Owens & Minor IT Governance Team to meet the day to day demands of the IT Department.
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for accurately reconciling and processing IT and Procurement invoices in a timely manner.
Responsible for following two-way match guidelines for connecting the invoice to either an Owens & Minor Purchase Order and/or an Owens & Minor Project. Must gather invoice approvals in accordance with the appropriate Business Owner of the purchase.
Gather invoice approvals in accordance with SOX as well as proper Financial Signing Authority
Responsible for accurate analysis of invoices in accordance to budget
Responsible for providing monthly accrual report to our Finance and Accounting team for the IT Department.
Assist IT Governance to ensure Business Owners are compliant with renewals and contracting process.
Serve as IT, Finance, and Accounting liaison for contract and invoice related questions to ensure strong relationships and smooth daily processes are maintained.
Qualifying Experience
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum, 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, IT, Governance or related field.
Prior experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial accounting, and reporting preferred.
Experience with accounting software and online platforms (Oracle Financials) preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software.
