The Role
The Senior Lead Field Marketing Manager (FMM) is responsible for driving the marketing campaigns and programs to increase funnel, improve sales productivity and ultimately lead to acquiring new customers and up-selling existing accounts. This position will develop and deliver tactics that drive high utilization and significant, measurable results from marketing programs, campaigns and tactics to move prospects and customers through the sales cycle to meet Lumen's sales and revenue targets. The FMM role will support the Lumen Public Sector sales organization.
The Main Responsibilities
• Drive lead generation activities through account-based marketing and paid media best practices to increase lead conversion rates (i.e., conversion of leads into sales funnel opportunities) to meet overall revenue targets. Pilot new demand generation programs.
• Drive marketing programs and events from planning to execution and results tracking, including messaging, content development, digital, social, events, executive alignment, sponsorships and other tactics to drive sales.
• Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies, and risk factors
• Exceptional problem-solving skills capable of identifying potential roadblocks in advance, and proposing tangible solutions; able to act on your feet and make critical decisions quickly without heavy coaching
• Serve as a vertical expert by developing an understanding of common IT challenges and business concerns in the public sector. Apply this knowledge to designing, planning, and executing programs to increase the effectiveness of Sales when pursuing sales conversations and proposing services to this vertical
What We Look For in a Candidate
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' progressive marketing and other work experience
• Experience translating Account-Based Marketing into successful marketing campaigns.
• Experience managing multiple vendor relationships
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with developing and supporting marketing metrics and reporting on measures of success such as Program ROI
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across a highly matrixed organization
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to the needs of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
• Post graduate study or degree preferred
• Public sector marketing expertise preferred (federal, state, local, education or public safety)
