Job Description

Role Overview

ADM is undergoing one of the most significant transformations in its 120-year history, impacting its organization, businesses, technology and culture. As part of this effort, the Human Resources function is undergoing a parallel transformation to align its strategy, talent, capabilities and services to best support the growth opportunities of the changing business.
To support the critical communications and engagement needs of the HR function and broader organization, the HR Transformation Communications Manager will partner with the Chief Human Resources Officer, regional HR Leadership and the business transformation teams to define a value-driven communication strategy and support the execution of that plan across the global business.
The day-to-day work will focus on both broad-based strategic communications and specific plans to ensure ADM colleagues worldwide understand and successfully adapt to changes in HR systems, policies, processes and technologies.

The successful candidate will excel at developing and executing — with minimal support — well-structured communications plans spanning multiple media and audiences. This individual will demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, collaborative instincts and a strong executive presence. And, he or she will be expert at turning often highly complex and detailed information into clear, compelling communications across all internal channels. This position can be remote.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with CHRO, HR Leadership, Global Communications and transformation program leaders to identify and address strategic communications needs associated with the ongoing business-transformation effort.
Collaborate with a team of global HR and communications professionals and agency partners to develop and execute integrated communications strategies focused on changing perception and motivating action.
Reach and influence target audiences by developing and delivering on messaging, creative storytelling, channel strategies, content and media and stakeholder engagement plans.
Utilize available communications technology to foster alignment and coordination of messages across a broader cross-section of ADM’s regional and global workforce. Produce structured communications plans tied to KPIs that measure meaningful progress.
Prepare briefings, presentations, articles, videos, webcasts and other content for various internal audiences as required.
Coach leaders and other speakers on content-delivery strategies and techniques.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field of study is a differentiator.
5-7 years related corporate communications or related agency / consultancy experience.
Proven success in leadership engagement and influence, as well as broad-based employee communications channels.
Impeccable oral, written, verbal and formal presentation skills.
Sharp leadership skills demonstrated by excellence in coaching and developing, multi-disciplinary collaboration and project management competencies, working cross-functionally.
Ability to craft communications that motivate engagement, commitment, participation and action within the workforce across functions and levels.
Handles changing priorities, a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines with ease and maturity.
Strong execution excellence with a highly collaborative mindset to drive shared results.
