Job Description

Primary Purpose of Position
The Business Services Coordinator works directly with the Chair(s) and the faculty in facilitating all the operations of the Department as a whole. This includes budgets for both State and private endowments, grants and contract administration, department records and paperwork, class scheduling, supervision of student workers, event scheduling, and general office reception.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:
 
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
 
University Preferred Qualifications:
 
Contributing: Four-year degree in a related business function; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 

Essential Job Duties
Coordinating business and fiscal functions of the Department of Religious Studies, including budget management, summarizing and reconciling information and financial data, records and facilities management, and personnel administration.
Other Work Responsibilities

Provide financial support for other smaller units within the College.
Manage Social Media and other communication to various stakeholders.
Supervise student workers. 

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

High School diploma or equivalent. 
Associates or Bachelors degree and work experience preferred. Familiarity with Banner and other university software systems.
