Job Description

Job Role Responsibilities

Interface directly with Operations team to drive unit improvements 
Optimize energy, chemical, and catalyst spend for business unit 
Work closely with supply chain to execute economic production signals
Support planning and field execution of planned turnaround / unit outages 
Organize and design plant testing and product trials
Provide technical assistance for customer concerns
Support development of closure plans for identified risks
Support incident investigations, safety and quality
Work with vendors on quality issues
Support various capital projects

Job Requirements

BS in Chemical Engineering
MS desirable, but not required
A minimum of 2 years of Chemical Engineering manufacturing technical experience

Preferred Qualifications

Refinery / plant design or project experience
Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions to resolve operational problems
Demonstrated sound business judgment and ability to view and incorporate the "big picture" into strategy development
Demonstrated ability to influence and promote change to achieve desired results
Strong written and verbal communications skills
