Lead efforts to identify and implement supplier cost reductions.
• Assist in the selection and management of new and current suppliers.
• Perform make vs buy analysis to determine optimal chain of supply for materials and suppliers.
• Support materials and quality teams to identify supplier delivery and quality issues.
• Source materials for new product launches and product model changes.
• Support the supplier transition process by allocating work from an external supplier to in house production or vice versa.
• Coordinate Request for Quote packages with supply base to ensure premium pricing for sourced materials.
• Collaborate and work with finance and accounting to ensure suppliers are paid on time.
• Manage materials projects by using problem solving techniques, data from factory information systems, and lean manufacturing concepts.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering required
• Years of Experience: P1- 0+ years of experience required/ P2- 2 or more years of experience required, experience in strategic sourcing and materials management preferred
• Software Knowledge: SAP and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to understand and interpret technical illustrations in a mathematical diagram and apply mathematical concepts and operations
