Dow Jones is looking to hire a Project Director to manage a variety of projects related to the Project Management Office and play a key role in the successful inorganic growth of the company. The project manager is responsible for tracking and maintaining documentation for a variety of projects within the group. The candidate will work with the teams to drive project plans and communicate with various levels of management regarding project status.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Partner with business stakeholders to drive execution of various initiatives, including the end-to-end delivery of M&A integration activities across the company

Provides strategic recommendations on processes and important milestones for M&A integration, business projects, and PMO activities

Monitors and tracks project progress against project deliverables; communicates project status, including roadblocks, milestones, successes with all project stakeholders.

Coordinate project logistics including: scheduling meetings, updating timelines, communicating deliverables, distributing materials, etc.

Ensures collaboration and information sharing among workstreams through transparency and effective communication

Proactively manage and escalate issues as required; continuously identifies dependencies and project risks.

Maintain reports and documentation

Knowledge/Experience:

Demonstrated success in managing high-volume technology staffing projects/ programs

Demonstrates ability to think strategically towards organizational and business future growth

Excellent project coordination, multi-tasking and cross-functional skills required

Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and provide strategic insight

Proven ability to work independently and with initiative to tight deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal, communication skills; ability to forge relationships across all levels of the organization

High-level of creativity, adaptability and persistence to find the best solutions.

The ability to plan, organize, schedule and coordinate multiple tasks to achieve objectives.

Works effectively in a fast-pace environment with multiple competing deadlines

Strong MS suite skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Strong ability to collect and interpret information

Excellent analytical skills and a close attention to detail; including data analysis, ability to sort through vast quantities of data quickly

Strong familiarity with statistical techniques

Strong ability to coordinate and organize teams around aggressive deliverables

Energetic, passionate, driven, and can adapt quickly to changes

Knowledge and experience in the Information Services or Energy industries preferred
