Job Description:
We are currently looking for dynamic individuals to join our regional Human Resources team as Talent Acquisition Partner located at our corporate headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment process. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their business and talent needs, provide support and advice on candidate sourcing channels and attraction strategies, and ensure high quality candidates are hired in the most time-effective manner.
As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will:
Be a business partner; establish consultative relationships with hiring managers, business unit leaders, and HR leaders. Anticipate changing needs of hiring managers and the businesses and adjust sourcing strategy accordingly.
Manage the recruitment process from preparation and advertisement of vacancies on internal and external channels, to interviewing selected candidates, and supporting HR with feedback on hiring decisions.
Challenge and educate hiring managers and business leaders on their existing expectations on talent availability and market conditions by using data as the driving force.
Be an ambassador- Have the ability to show potential candidates why Huntsman is one of the best employers in the chemical industry. You are the face of the company.
Develop and execute a staffing strategy for assigned businesses focused on creative sourcing methods to identify high-potential, diverse talent within market data.
Conduct onsite visits in order to effectively conduct environmental scans of locations. Be the expert.
Monitor the internal transfer process and promote the development of internal candidates within the business.
Work as part of a recruitment Talent Acquisition team to capture and promote continuous improvement opportunities within the recruitment process.
Meet expectations set by the COE for performance targets. (i.e., Time to fill, Quality of hire, diversity goals, agency usage, hiring manager experience, and candidate experience).
Skills and experiences required:
Bachelor’s degree is required. LinkedIn Recruiter Certification is a plus.
Demonstrated success in partnering with business unit leaders and HR representatives to develop and execute recruitment strategies in varied regional markets within a fast-paced environment, while maintaining complete ownership of the candidate and hiring manager experience.
Comprehensive behavioral-based interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
Experience in building relationships and consulting with and influencing hiring managers with regards to candidate sourcing and selection, market demographics, and broadening search parameters to improve the quality of talent pool.
Experience with networking and sourcing trends, including extensive use of LinkedIn and social media channels, displaying persistence and aggressiveness in following up to obtain information; capability of utilizing enterprise-wide Applicant Tracking Systems.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction. Must be adaptable in working different hours of the day in to ensure accessibility to external candidates.
Willingness to occasionally travel to sites as needed. Occasional overnight stay may be required. (20% travel).
A minimum of 5 years of professional recruiting experience. A mix of Agency and in-house corporate experience is highly desirable.
Experience working within Workday Recruitment module is highly preferred.
