Job Description
What You'll Do:
Sourcing:
Proactively identify, cultivate relationships, and catalyze transactions with the best B2B technology companies in the world
Represent SGE at industry conferences around the United States
Due Diligence and Deal Execution:
Lead review of potential new investments, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, market and industry research, transaction and returns modeling, and company valuation
Develop presentation materials for the firm, portfolio companies and management teams at prospective companies
Post-investment support:
Build close relationships with portfolio company founders and leadership teams
Proactively find ways to add value to portfolio companies post-investment – from surfacing M&A targets to helping with strategic and operational projects at each company
Travel to meet with CEOs and management teams at prospective companies, and at portfolio companies, across North America
What we're looking for
1-2 years of experience at a growth equity firm, venture capital firm, management consulting firm, investment bank, or software company
Demonstrated passion for technology and/or entrepreneurship
Enthusiasm for building relationships with entrepreneurs and catalyzing investment opportunities
Superior work ethic, strong desire to learn, uncompromising attention to detail
Superior analytical and organizational skills
Will not require visa sponsorship
