Description

Position: Electro-mechanic, Education: Associate Degree in Industrial Electromechanical.

Responsible for starting and operating the Shipping Line equipment and ensure that they are operating continuously. 
Repair mechanical and electrical equipment in operational areas and support utilities.
On a quarterly basis, perform a deep maintenance of the shipping lines.
Evaluate, operate and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic facilities, machines and equipment.
Responsible for the electro mechanic of the Core Shipping Line that works with voltages (480 vt AC, 120 vt AC and 24 vt DC).
Report to the immediate supervisor any failure, anomaly or observation through the establishes processes in order to to take the corresponding actions. Detect and report to security flaws in the handling of equipment.
Execute a preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance program for the equipment to ensure the reliability, availability, security and quality. Follow up and close the findings of the equipment maintenance.
Propose and execute improvement actions in maintenance and operation activities to achieve the maximum level of effectiveness in the operation of the equipment.
Recommend what material should be purchased for equipment repair and maintenance, and where they should be purchased.
Develop and maintain a spare parts inventory system that ensures inventory levels that meet the needs of the shipping line.
Responsible for the “Start Up” of the shipping lines.
Responsible for verifying the air systems (Compressor and “Dryer”) and notify the immediate supervisor of any failure, anomaly or observation.
Prepare and maintain the Trouble Shooting Guide.
Verify and rotate the printers of the shipping line. Responsible for the printers programming, repair and basic maintenance.
Coordinate with the immediate supervisor the visits of vendors or service representatives.  
Report the physical conditions of the facilities, building and/or equipment that require maintenance.
Ensure the good operation of the electrical system in the company's facilities. 

Electrical panels inspection. • Fans reparation in operational areas. • Inspect the lighting of the facilities/offices and change the bulbs if necessary. • Installation of electronic equipment, receptacles and lamps in situations that are not very complex. • Work with electrical equipment, parts or components of all kinds. • Work with 220, 480 volts under humid conditions. • Inform the immediate supervisor of reparations that an Electrician is required.

2 years: Preventive maintenance.
