Job Description

Seasoned techno-functional architect for building the future of Mastercard! Come join the team that owns the product architecture of Mastercard's most critical technology asset - the Core Network Switch.

Responsibilities:

- Owns the high level product architecture for the platform and certain adjacent domain services.
- Owns initiative-level feasibility design and tech validation
- Owns initiative level end-to-end design and architecture
- Owns initiative level design elaboration in collaboration with service architects
- Supports service architects and dev teams in feature level design elaboration
- Supports service architects and dev teams with PR reviews and guidance
- Ensures that the system architecture and lower-level implementations adhere to Engineering Principles
- Champions collaboration across all parts of the product development unit (prod mgrs, service architects, developers, PM-Ts etc.)
- Primary point of contact for Enterprise Architects supporting the program - ensures that product architecture aligns with Enterprise Architecture

Skills:
- Deep understanding of payment networks and message switching.
- Deep understanding of Mastercard's payment network (preferred)
- Familiarity with one or more of our existing switching platforms
- Familiarity with one or more modern architectural patterns (Event driven architecture, microservices etc.)
- Open mind and a collaborative attitude
- Willingness to learn
