Position Summary

Provides high-level customer service to internal and external customers and ensures all operational functions related to disbursements, customer service inquiries, processing, and vendor master changes are supported according to policy.   Essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

 Responsibilities:

Oversee daily invoice processing and workflow operations.
Ensure all disbursements are processed and reconciled daily with no loss.
Maintain and enhance all internal controls in regards to the Accounts Payable function.
Gather and review statistics based on volumes and distribution to increase proficiencies and decrease exceptions.
Implement and support projects/programs that continually improve and simplify the accounts payable function and supplier payment process while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Prepare performance reviews and provide feedback that will lead to improved performance.
Support and participate in the transition of new business to the NSSC.
Ensure all internal and external audit requirements for AP are met. Assist with audit preparation requests for AP.
Back up to the other AP Supervisor duties and provide support as needed.
Performs other tasks as assigned or requested.

Required Skills

B.S. in accounting/finance preferred or equivalent experience
Minimum 2-3 years experience in high volume AP environment, with 1-3 years supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of SAP preferred
Strong knowledge of AP/Purchasing methodology
Demonstrated skills in customer service, quality, problem solving, and resource management
Excellent written, organization and verbal communication skills
