Job Description
As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
With technical guidance, execute and conduct design, analysis, and evaluation per engineering standards and procedures to meet the product requirements
Work collaboratively with engineers from heat transfer, adjacent hardware, engine performance and system integration
Collaborate with new make manufacturing shops & repair shops on hardware
Recommend approaches to meet the technical and program requirements
Formulate plans that achieve schedules
Develop action plans and respond to problems
Present key technical presentation to product stakeholders
Complete documentation of technical data for the assigned projects
?Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, or closely related field of Engineering
Desired Characteristics
Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering related to product design
Prior experience in product design, mechanical design, or related field
Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems.
Basic knowledge with mechanical design analytical software and Unigraphics
Experience in contributing in a structured, cross functional teamwork environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; basic project management skills.
Fundamental understanding of turbine system design.
