Sales Manager
Mid-Atlantic Settlement Services is seeking a Sales Manager for the Washington DC metro.
Description:
The Sales Manager leads the Sales Representative Team and provides training, guidance, and leadership while monitoring the performance of each team player and works with internal partners and peers to develop strategies to increase revenue/unit count and capture rates within each employee’s assigned region.
Provide leadership, direction and coaching to this group in all technical, operational and performance aspects.
Responsible for overseeing the Sales Representative’s schedules to ensure adequate coverage for conferences, vacations, etc.
Coordinate regular monthly Sales Representative meetings.
Maintain adequate Sales Representative staffing levels to achieve production goals.
Travel to brokerage offices within region.
Develop ongoing strategies- focused on expansion/business growth through new business resources such as Lenders, Brokers/Franchises other outside business sources.
Provide recommendations to management regarding future staffing levels.
Partner with the Training department, to coordinate education programs for both internal and external clients. The Sales Manager will ensure that a Sales Executive will cover each class and monitor the effectiveness of presentations or provide coverage when Sales Executives are not available.
Maintain all weekly and monthly reporting from all Sales Representative and statistical reporting to management.
Create analysis tools and provide recommendations to measure customer concerns and need for process improvement.
Create productivity measurement tools and incentive analysis protocols to measure against industry standards.
Requirements:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Five years of successful sales experience with at least two years of sales/business management experience is required.
Experience overseeing a large team is preferred.
A proven track record showing proficiency in building business strategies that lead to business growth.
A history of hiring, retaining and motivating team members.
Strong verbal and written communication and professional presentation skills required with both individuals and groups.
Proficiency is Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word and ability to quickly become acclimated to other internal programs is required.
