The Strategy and Analytics team for TD Prime Services is looking for a candidate to join its team.
The role will be responsible to develop the analytics and machine learning models for client analytics, Security Lending, FO risk management and collateral optimization. In addition, the role will work with other businesses and areas of TD for business collaboration, Financial Resource management and liquidity/funding initiatives. The role will also work very closely with Technology and Product Development team for new product and platform enhancement.
As the team covers multiple aspects of the business, the candidate will have to wear many hats, so the ability to multi-task, open to learn new things, as well as strong organizational skills, are critical. The individual must also balance an independent, proactive work ethic with a strong team mentality. Collaboration across the organization, communication, and idea generation are key, as are strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements
The candidate will work closely with Sales & Trading, Risk, Finance, Operation and Technology team in TD Securities. He/she will be closely involved in:
• Prime Services client analytics and pricing
• Prime Services Security Lending analytics
• Prime Service secured financing capability and collateral optimization
• Prime Services Financial Resource management and regulatory projects
• Prime Service new product development and Technology platform enhancement
Qualifications
• Strong analytical and statistic skills a must. Solid understanding of Prime Brokerage business and Funding/Liquidity Management would be advantageous
• Have 5-10 year Finance experience, in the area of Liquidity, Repo/Secured Funding, Stock Loan, Delta One, Equity Derivative, Prime Brokerage or Financial Resource management
• Have the history of working with Finance/Risk/ Operation/Technology teams
• Ability to build, query and analyze large pools of data. Have Time Series analysis / machine learning background
• Strong Python/Machine Learning programming skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong communication skills, presentation skills and team player
