PRIMARY PURPOSE:
It is the responsibility of the Direct Marketing Manager to setup on property activations for marketing campaigns and to communicate all property direct marketing to the CoE for fulfilment. This position will support the property initiatives by partnering with the Direct Marketing CoE to ensure all property direct marketing campaigns are deployed and setup according to the property marketing strategy. All duties are performed within corporate and property mission, values, policies, procedures, and jurisdictional regulations.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Works diligently to support the S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards culture and team philosophy throughout the property.
Acts as a role model to all employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Borgata and encourages others to do the same.
Understands and explains Borgata programs to customers and emphasizes the rewards and benefits of the Borgata Loyalty Card Program to promote customer retention.
Complies with all New Jersey regulatory requirements, departmental and Company Policies including Borgata’s business ethics guidelines.
Maintains confidentiality of all Borgata trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information.
Coordinate programs with appropriate departments to ensure smooth and effective interface.
Responsible for verifying database pulls for mailings and analyses
Works closely with counter parts in MGM Resorts to ensure data is being pulled correctly.
Develop new marketing campaigns.
Test new marketing systems as required.
Responsible for coordination of mailings with mail-house and ensure all mail pieces are on schedule.
Coordinate with mail houses to ensure optimal use of postal discounts
Responsible for all returned mail.
Prepare forecasts and pro-forma business reports to support the financial feasibility of proposed programs.
Ensure accuracy of all mailings.
Analyze daily response rates and provides response reports for direct marketing programs.
Key management skills include interpersonal skills, analytical expertise, multi-task ability, decision-making, adaptability, integrity, leadership, team building, and staff development.
This position issues comps but does not comp to the level which requires a casino key employee license in accordance with N.J.A.C. 19:41-1.1(b) 5 and 19:45 – 1.9B.
Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four year college or university; minimum three years’ experience in database management and direct marketing in a casino environment.
Experience in executing consumer, database, and operational marketing programs in a casino environment.
Read, write and understand English.
Ability to effectively communicate in written format.
Ability to present information in one-one and small group situations to customers and employees.
Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas.
Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
