Job Description

Position Overview
 

Vehicle Dynamics ADAS Engineer

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Integration of component subsystems into a single system, Develop/Review component-level requirements, specifications, FMEA, DVP and reports from external suppliers to meet the vehicle program requirements

• Project management of ADAS functionalities and development projects

• Test and verify ADAS system performance at the vehicle level and against defined requirements in a proving grounds environment as well as on public roads.

• Deliver test plan based on Autonomous Driving system requirements, review test plan from other stakeholders and communicate with Program team to establish a proper test plan.

• Perform root cause analysis of issues detected in products released or under development, implement lessons learnt on subsequent products

• Perform correlation activities to align the simulation models with physical test data


Basic Requirements
 

Master’s degree

At least 6 years of technical project/program management experience

At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

Bachelor’s degree
At least 8 years of technical project/program management experience
At least 1 year of lead experience

OR

At least 10 years of technical project/program management experience
At least 1 year of lead experience


Additional Requirements
 

Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
 

Experience of test and validation of ADAS systems, HIL, SIL & Vehicle
Good Knowledge of vehicle steering systems
Understanding of advanced driver assistance sensors such as RADAR, camera, ultrasonic and LIDAR
Experience with automotive environmental, reliability, and safety requirements
Experience with Vehicle CAN network systems & diagnostics
Good knowledge of validation, verification and testing proces
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Excellent Communication Skills – both written and verbal
