The Sr. Scientist I, Technical Writing is responsible for the creation of technical documents such as product technical data sheets, website collateral, sales sheets and other marketing collateral. This role requires a strong background in Immunology and proven experience in authoring peer-reviewed publications, grants, talks and posters.
Job Responsibilities:
Drafting background information and figure legends for technical data sheets.
Authoring sales sheets.
Creating technical website collateral.
Authoring scientific posters.
Staying current with scientific literature to sense new leads.
Create testing plans for product development.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Minimum of Master's Degree in Immunology or related life science discipline with at least 8 years’ experience in technical writing or Ph.D. with minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical writing.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Immunology and Immuno-oncology.
Open to considering remote candidates in PST time zone with a willingness to travel to San Diego office once or twice per week when able/approved to return to work.
·Knowledge and Skills:
Up-to-date on scientific trends through avid study of scientific literature, conferences and through external networking
Proven experience in authoring peer-reviewed publications, grants, and posters.
Experience effectively working in a matrixed environment,
Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Very little travel required.
