D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Treasury Assistant for their Corporate Accounting Department.  The right candidate will perform various accounting and banking processes.       

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Each Treasury Assistant will be assigned primary responsibilities for some of these duties and will provide back-up for the other duties.
Maintain Company bank accounts, including opening, closing, adding services and authorized signatures
Perform activities related to the effective and timely accounting of cash including customer NSF activity, deposit corrections, and cleared check verification, stop payments and void check processing. 
Initiate wires in the bank software.  Daily verification of previous day wire transfers.
Enter/post related journal entries into the accounting system.
Prepare weekly transaction report for A/P checks printed.
Positive Pay processing
Letter of Credit management
Remote Deposit processing,
Banking Software administration.
Prepare monthly reconciliation of Letter of Credit activity.
Prepare and maintain supporting documentation related to the monthly verification of various cash activities.
Other duties and Treasury projects as assigned.

 Qualifications
 

Education and/or Experience   

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
