Responsibilities
As an Engineer in our Infrastructure Services area, you’ll be responsible for all things infrastructure! You’ll spend your days automating all phases of a server lifecycle from provisioning to patching and on through to decommissioning. You’ll also focus on monitoring and troubleshooting server issues, taking on project work to research technologies to improve our current infrastructure and capturing the data we use to report on standards and performance compliance. We are looking to change the way we manage and create our infrastructure and we need you to help us drive these changes through to completion.
Here are few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:
Use a variety of tools to create or update automation we rely on to keep systems healthy.
Improve the software we use to apply patches to 4000 servers every month.
Create new, automated tests that validate changes to our base server images.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a preference in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience
Software development experience in a professional, academic or community setting (Java, C, C#, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
Technical aptitude
There will be on-call responsibilities
Additional preferred technical experience:
Configuration management tooling (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
CICD pipeline (continuous integration and continuous delivery)
Performance monitoring and testing
