Job Description
Robert Half has partnered with a manufacturer that remained strong through the pandemic to fill their Cost Analyst role. The Cost Analyst will be responsible for: · Reports production daily and ensures accurate consumption of materials. · Reviews and assists in preparation of standard cost updates. · Assists in the preparation and analysis of standard product costs including material standards, labor, and burden rates for all locations. · Assists in the development of the annual standard cost of sales budget—maintain budget work papers. · Assists in the monthly closing process and analysis. · Develops and prepares various account reconciliations and reports (inventory, scrap, obsolescence, variances to budget, etc.) · Recommends improvements to current procedures and reporting, assists in the implementation of new systems, processes and reports.
Requirements
This is a great opportunity for someone who has a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry to get into a Cost Analyst role. Candidates must have advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
