Job Purpose:
In this role you will support the Customer Care department objectives regarding Field Inventory Management.
Many products are shipped on consignment to customers, whereby the invoice is only being sent when the products are used (customer consigned inventory). In the same way, Sales representatives may hold a stock of products that they sell (Sales Representative Assigned Inventory-SRAI). From a financial and compliance perspective it is important to verify these stocks on a regular basis and/or to make sure the stocks are returned when due. The main responsibility of the FIM team is to support the Sales teams in these tasks and ensure the stock verifications are performed and administrated in a correct and timely way. Reporting is another key responsibility in this function. You will be working for both the Belgian and Dutch markets.
Your responsibilities include:
Coordinate the scheduling of stock counts with Sales and third-party provider
Perform the reconciliations of consignment and SRAI checks, identify discrepancies, perform batch swaps, and transfer units to appropriate stock locations, get appropriate authorization regarding transactions to be performed
Verify the reconciliations performed by third party provider and provide feedback when applicable
Support sales in reconciliation efforts and in following-up of discrepancies with customers
Coordinate the consignment contracts process
Report on the different types of consignment stock and SRAI levels
Support Sales in general enquiries regarding consignment/SRAI
Run month-end reports, identify required actions, and coordinate timely solutions
What we are looking for:
Higher education / diploma (business administration, logistics);
Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written skills) in French, Dutch and English;
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel;
Strong organization skills and demonstrated attention to detail;
Experience in customer care or inventory management is an advantage and so is knowledge of SAP and/or Sales Force Service Cloud;
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and regulated environment, ability to work effectively under pressure.
